For Immediate Release

Wellington, FL- January 1, 2014- Imagine a man who gracefully lifts a beautiful woman high in the air in an arabesque. Then put that on top of a galloping horse. Welcome to the new Wild West with Brandon Perdue and Gena Cox. This dynamic duo will treat audiences to some of the finest trick riding this side of the Mississippi on Friday, January 17, at 7 pm.

Let’s just say it’s not their first rodeo. The “Wellington Wild West Show” will wow audiences at The Stadium at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington, Florida, with some of the most talented western horses and riders whose daring feats may have you watching out of just one eye. The exhibitions are part of the “Friday Night Stars” series held during the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, which runs January 9 to March 30, 2014, at the PBIEC.

Avid tandem riders and trainers, Cox and Perdue are the Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire of the horse world who defy danger with their extreme trick riding. Entertainment will also include Roman riding — straddling multiple? horses at top speeds, and barrel racing. Guy McLean will show off his incredible “naked” horses which follow commands with no saddles, bridles or even halters. Rodeo clowns are on hand to keep spirits high in this fun family night. Legendary Loop Rawlins will be performing his amazing trick roping, whip cracking, and fancy gun spinning. Cowboy Rusty McCray with his crowd-pleasing comedic performance will also be in the ring.

General admission is free and food and beverage are available for purchase. Don’t miss this incredible exhibition of equestrian talent at PBIEC!

The Stadium at PBIEC is located at 13500 South Shore Boulevard in Wellington, Florida.
