Wellington, FL – January 4, 2014 – Equestrian Sport Productions LLC is proud to welcome Suncast® for its sixth year as a major sponsor of the world-renowned FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival (FTI WEF). Suncast® sponsors the 1.50m Championship Jumper Series, which runs throughout the 12 weeks of FTI WEF competition, held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center on January 8 to March 30, 2014. The series offers fantastic prize money for its weekly classes and also awards a special $25,000 rider bonus at the end of the circuit.
All but two of the Suncast® 1.50m Championship Jumper Series Classics will be FEI world ranking classes in 2014. Four of the classes, during FTI WEF weeks 5, 7, 9, and 11, will feature $84,000 in prize money each. During week 12, the $100,000 Suncast® 1.50m Championship Jumper Series Final will be held on Saturday, March 29.
A $25,000 rider bonus will also be awarded at the conclusion of the FTI WEF circuit, rewarding the performance of the top horse and rider combination throughout the Suncast® series. The bonus will be awarded following the completion of the final class.
Through their sponsorship of the FTI WEF, Suncast® now also supports the $125,000 Trump Invitational Grand Prix, presented by Rolex. The one-of-a-kind event showcases 36 of the world’s top riders in an FEI world ranking competition held at the beautiful Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, FL, on January 5, 2014.
