“We always aim for excellence when planning the spring shows and to again be named to the NARG Top 25 of 2014 is an honor we appreciate greatly,” said Alan Bietsch, Old Salem Farm Manager. “We are proud to have some of the most renowned equestrian athletes support the shows and this designation is proof that Old Salem Farm is a must-see on the U.S. show jumping tour.”

Deemed one of the best facilities in America, NARG praised Old Salem Farm’s grass field calling it second to none. “Old Salem Farm is beautiful any time of year, but especially in the spring. Their attention to even the smallest detail makes it a pleasure to be an exhibitor,” stated NARG.

They also attributed the success of the shows in part to “meticulous management.” The fantastic Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows management team is a cohesive unit that works to improve the events and the facility.

“The management that steps in to host the spring shows in May makes it a pleasure to compete, offering a nice choice for East Coast riders between the winter circuits and summer campaigns,” they said. “To achieve and hold a position in the Top 25 is a triumph.”

In addition to honoring the Old Salem Farm Spring Shows, the American Gold Cup returned to NARG’s top five ranking third. NARG acknowledged it as a long-running and important event that has once again achieved a standard befitting top ranking.

Old Salem Farm’s two-week spring series boasts over 130 hunter and jumper classes each week and awards nearly $500,000 in prize money. The 2015 series will kick off May 3 with the Welcome Horse Show and Day and continue with Week I May 5-10 and Week II May 12-17.
