The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows, recently ranked in the North American Riders Group Top 25 for the fourth year in a row, will once again host two weeks of exceptional equestrian sport May 5-10 and May 12-17 in North Salem, NY. Old Salem Farm’s beautifully manicured grounds, a list of elite horses and riders, and fantastic social gatherings draw spectators from Westchester County and beyond to watch horses and ponies of every size compete. Selected as a USHJA Member’s Choice horse Show in 2014, top quality footing, and a world-class VIP experience make the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows an experience that is second to none.

Old Salem Farm’s two-week spring shows boast over 130 hunter and jumper classes each week and award nearly $500,000 in prize money. The 2015 series will kick off May 3 with the Welcome Horse Show and Day, bringing together top competitors, including Olympic show jumpers, from all corners of North America and beyond.

Week one will include the $35,000 New York Welcome Stake on Friday, May 8, as well as the $15,000 Old Salem Farm Speed Derby, presented by Miller Motorcars, on Saturday, May 9, and the $50,000 Old Salem Farm Grand Prix, presented by The Kincade Group, on Sunday, May 10. Week two will feature the $35,000 Grand Prix of North Salem on Friday, May 15, the $20,000 Speed Derby of North Salem, presented by Miller Motorcars, on Saturday, May 16, and the $100,000 Empire State Grand Prix, presented by The Kincade Group, on Sunday, May 17. Open jumpers will be competing for the $20,000 Leading Jumper Rider Challenge. Junior and amateur jumpers will also enjoy a $15,000 Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic, presented by Miller Motorcars, each Sunday.

In addition to a full schedule of USEF “Premier” rated hunter competition, a $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby will be featured on Saturday, May 16. Old Salem Farm is also proud to continue honoring hunter riders with the presentation of a $5,000 Leading Hunter Rider Award for the rider that earns the most points in hunter divisions throughout the two weeks of competition.
