North Salem, NY – May 9, 2013 – The first week of the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Show runs through Sunday, May 12, and competition today featured the Adult Amateur Hunters. There were two age divisions for the riders, and along with division championships, there was a Grand Adult Amateur Hunter Champion crowned and a $500 Marshall & Sterling Adult Amateur Hunter Qualifier class. Taking home the lionshare of prizes was Katie Robinson of Bronxville, NY, on Sutton Place, owned by KJ Robinson LLC.
North Salem, NY – May 8, 2013 – The first week of the Old Salem Spring Horse Show continued today with championships in the professional hunter divisions as well as opening classes for the Open Jumpers. The show goes through Sunday, May 12, and the second week will be held on May 14-19 at Old Salem Farm in North Salem, NY.
North Salem, NY – May 7, 2013 – The 2013 Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows kicked off competition today on the beautiful show grounds in North Salem, NY. They are welcoming more than 1,000 horses to the two-week competition, which runs May 7-12 and May 14-19. The show has invested in their grounds in recent years and their efforts have been recognized by attendance of the world's best riders.
North Salem, NY – May 1, 2013 – The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows are proud to welcome the 2013 Rolex FEI World Cup Final winner, Beezie Madden, back to the United States. Her first competition will be the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows, held on May 7-12 and 14-19, 2013. In addition to Madden, local rider and Olympic gold medalist McLain Ward of Brewster, NY, will be at Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows. Ward placed fifth in this year's World Cup Final. The show featured a full schedule of “AA” hunter and 4-star jumper competition, including a $25,000 Grand Prix, a $10,000 Open Jumper Stake, and a $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Classic.
